With the Sledgehammer wheels that come on the Hoss the Rustler is a beast through the grass. It's been extra fun upgrading wheels and each set offers a different driving experience (great new reasons to run the car in different places and more often). I've been impressed with the super stable cornering and it seems much less tippy than the Hoss in all of the running videos studied when comparing them. They have not been tested nor are they guaranteed to work with any other Traxxas or aftermarket bodies.Faced the same question and ended up getting the Rustler.
